Delightful! I do hope that Andreas did not leave the stalwart Anna with a permanent ant problem due to his shenanigans. And my gosh, the German script for hiding notes is hilarious. One can’t be too careful, indeed…

i don't understand why you feel you are running out of objects, etc. Perhaps you set too high a bar for this. You could just trip on some rock or bug on your walks and turn that into another one of your fascinating essays, with pics!! It would be equal to the ones you do now. I remember people mentioning the kaolin mines. are they still there? have you ever visited them (or fallen down one?) There always was a kind of mysterious thrill about them. best to you and all we followers!

What an unusual arrival for the tea house hostess. Im amazed she even had enough food ready. I look forward to seeing your detailed pencil drawings of plants. My own ants are not eating much near my kitchen sink these days. Uneaten blobs of honey.
